A Matter curtain track connects directly to Apple Home, Alexa or Google Home, without a separate brand app. You still need a hub from that ecosystem, which many homes already have.

- Apple Home needs a HomePod, HomePod mini or Apple TV. Alexa needs a Matter-ready Echo. Google Home needs a Google speaker or display.
- Does Matter need an extra bridge?
- Not for the QL600 Matter. It runs Matter over Wi-Fi and pairs through the hub you already own.
- Does it need a socket?
- Yes, the QL600 Matter is mains powered. If there is no socket near the window, look at the QL600 Battery.
